Privacy Policy

Effective June 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Souncery collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect only what we need to run the Service and to keep your audio and account information secure.

01Overview

Souncery (“we,” “us”) provides AI-assisted mixing and mastering analysis. This policy applies to information we process when you visit our site, create an account, upload audio, or subscribe to a paid plan. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

02Information we collect

We collect information in three broad categories:

  • Account information — your email address, password (stored as a hash), and any profile details you provide.
  • Content you upload — the audio files and reference tracks you submit for analysis, along with project names and notes you add.
  • Usage & device data — basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and how you interact with the Service, used to operate, secure, and improve it.

03Your audio & content

The audio you upload is processed solely to generate your analysis and reference comparisons. You retain ownership of your content. We do not sell your audio, and we do not use your uploaded tracks to train models for other customers without your explicit consent.

04How we use information

We use the information we collect to provide and maintain the Service, run and return your analyses, manage your account and subscription, respond to support requests, prevent abuse and secure the Service, and comply with our legal obligations. We may use aggregated, de-identified data to understand and improve how the Service performs.

05Payments & Stripe

We never see or store your full card details. Payments are processed by Stripe, and your card information is handled directly by Stripe under its own privacy practices.

When you subscribe, we receive limited billing metadata from Stripe — such as your plan, billing status, and the last four digits and brand of your card — so we can manage your subscription and show your billing history.

06Sharing & processors

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us run Souncery — including cloud hosting, storage, and our payment processor, Stripe — and only to the extent they need it to perform services for us. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.

07Data retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Uploaded audio and analyses are retained according to your plan and history settings, and you can delete saved analyses from within the app. When you delete content or close your account, we remove or de-identify the associated data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations.

08Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit, access controls, and isolated storage — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to promptly address any issues we discover.

09Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update your account details and delete saved content from your settings at any time, or reach us through our contact page to make a request. We will respond consistent with applicable law.

10Cookies & analytics

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand aggregate usage so we can improve the Service. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the Service works.

11Children

The Service is not directed to children, and you must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use it. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12International transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than the one in which you live. Where we transfer information across borders, we take steps to ensure it remains protected consistent with this policy and applicable law.

13Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
